2009 Hawk Display Livery

2009 HAWK T.MK.1/1A DISPLAY LIVERY

The paint scheme for the 2009 Display Hawk has been designed.

This year the design echoes the striking underside of the 2008 display jet but the roundel is larger and contains the RAF Benevolent Fund Heart in the centre in recognition of the work of the RAFBF and the support that they have offered the Hawk DisplayTeam over the years.

The tail fin, fuselage and top surfaces of the jet will be painted with an eye catching and patriotic Union Flag design which will appear to be tearing through the classic Black Hawk paint scheme.

The Display jet will wear Royal Air Force Roundels and proudly carry the 208 Squadron unofficial emblem, 'The Eye of Horus'.

The Display Jet and spares are currently in the paint shop awaiting thier new livery and images will be published as soon as they are available. Please keep checking back for updates!
