Flight Lieutenant Phil Wilkinson

The PRO is another Qualified Flying Instructor from 208 (R) Squadron. He is responsible for all aspects of publicising the Hawk Display and the Liaison with the public throughout the season. The 2010 Hawk Display Public Relations Officer is Flight Lieutenant Phil Wilkinson, "Wilky". Wilky is an instructor pilot known as a 'Creamie' because he was selected for instructional duties immediately following his own Fast Jet flying course - a process referred to as 'Creaming Off'. Following his instructional tour, Wilky will complete tactical weapons training with 19 (F) Squadron before joining a front line squadron.
